Welcome to my site Guitar Lessons Houston. My name is Alan Darby and I've been teaching guitar lessons in  Houston Memorial, Fulshear, Sugar Land, Houston, Katy, Richmond and other surrounding areas for over 25 years, and I've been playing for over 35 years.

A Quick Overview of My Guitar Lessons

I accept guitar students of all levels. If you are a total beginner or an advanced guitarist, it doesn't matter. I'm very patient and I will teach you at your pace.

I'm comfortable teaching any age guitar student whether it's for your child or teenager, or you're a college student, adult, or retiree. Everyone is different and I tailor my lessons to fit you.

I teach all styles of guitar playing. Over the years I've studied, taught and played pretty much everything. If you're into rock guitar, blues guitar, jazz, folk, bluegrass, country, R&B, heavy metal, fingerstyle or whatever, I can help you learn the techniques and theory behind each guitar style.

Locations for Houston, Memorial area, Richmond, and Katy Guitar Lessons

I teach guitar lessons in Houston, TX on the west side of town and in the Houston Memorial area, Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village, Hedwig Village, Hunters Creek Village areas . I also teach further west of Houston around the Richmond, Sealy, Fulshear, Sugar Land and Katy, Texas areas. In home lessons are available in the Houston Memorial area.
